As believers, one of our greatest privileges is hearing God’s voice. Through His Word, His Spirit, and His still small whisper, God speaks to us and guides us. But what does the Bible specifically say about hearing God’s voice? Let’s look at 21 key scriptures that shed light on this vital topic.

1. John 10:27 – “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” This hearing God’s voice scripture reminds us that if we belong to Jesus, we will recognize and respond to His voice. He knows us intimately, and we can trust His leading.

2. John 8:47 – “Whoever is of God hears the words of God…” Here Jesus indicates that a mark of a true child of God is that we listen to and obey God’s words to us. Hearing God’s voice is a sign of our relationship with Him.

3. Isaiah 30:21 – “And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.” What a reassuring promise!
